Girls Soccer Starts Their Season

Girls Soccer played their first game on Wednesday, December 3rd at home against Marin Catholic. In the first half, Marin Catholic scored. The Falcons came back strong at halftime and tied the game 1-1, with a goal by Sabrina Bentley (junior). Marin Catholic scored again, but Shelby Sekel (senior) responded with a header goal to tie the game. The final score was 2-2.

On Friday, December 5, the Falcons played another home game against Dougherty Valley. In the first half, Julianna Rico (sophomore) scored the first goal. At halftime, College Park was up 1-0. In the second half, the Falcons dominated, scoring five more goals. Sabrina Bentley (junior), Kaytie Lopez (senior), Stefanie Eitelgeorge (sophomore), and Sophia Voorhies (senior) all scored leaving the final score 6-0. Great job Falcons! This week, Girls Soccer has two more home games. The first is on Wednesday, December 10, against Bishop O’Dowd.
