On Saturday, January 24th, Varsity girls attended the Goddess of the Vine tournament at Clayton Valley. Four of our wrestlers placed, Junior, Madi Barret placed 3rd, while Junior Natalia Andres, Sophomore Rebekah Gutierrez, and Senior Bernice Lucero all placed 4th in their weight classes. 

College Park successfully placed 7th out of the 51 teams at this tournament. Sophomore Rebekah Gutierrez had an impressive day, winning 3 of her five matches with two tech falls and a pin in under a minute. This Tuesday, January 27th, the team will dual Clayton Valley and Northgate at Northgate High School, make sure to give your support. Next week CP goes on to NCS duals, and the week after will be championships. Good Luck Falcons!
