During the 2017-2018 season, the lady falcons of College Park High School’s Women’s volleyball program had to really give it their all to keep up with the competitive teams in the Diablo Athletic Leagues’s Foothill division. Competing against teams such as Campolindo, Miramonte, Acalanes and Northgate, the falcons were really given a run for their money. Throughout the fast paced games, our team was able to work hard and pull off some amazing rallies. Whether the games were away at our our competitors’ schools or right here at home at the nest, the CP volleyball team always had great energy with the support and cheers from those on the bench and in the stands. The teams in the DAL Foothill League have great skills and came away with the win against CP for the majority of the season.

In the DAL Valley Division, CP will be more evenly matched amongst teams. In recent years it has been difficult to put College Park in one of these two leagues because when we were in the Valley division, we managed to secure second place in the league, only being beaten by Northgate. Contrastingly, last year in the Foothill division, College Park was not able to accomplish as many wins as they had hoped. However, with the new coaching staff and a great group of players the CPHS volleyball program has an optimistic future. Going forward with the College Park Women’s volleyball program, our teams are sure to be successful in the new league during the 2018-2019 season.
