Three Falcons Selected in MLB Draft

Congratulations to College Park alum Trevor Larnach, Willie MacIver and Joe Demers!  The three 2015 graduates were selected in this years MLB draft, a historic event for the school and baseball program.  The class of 2015 baseball team, under current head coach Andy Tarpley,  won back to back NCS Championships and had seven players go on to NCAA Division I play.

Trevor Larnach, Oregon State, was selected #20 in the first round by the Minnesota Twins.  At 6'4 and 210 lbs, Trevor is a left handed power hitter slotted to play outfield.

Willie MacIver, University of Washington, was a ninth-round pick by the Colorado Rockies in this years MLB draft. 

Joe DeMers, who threw the first no hitter in school history at Washington this season, was an 11th-round pick by the Oakland Athletics.

The three players all started their baseball journey together in PHBA when they were eight years old.  Congratulations boys!
