This year, JV girls Volleyball had an exciting season for everyone involved. With only three returning players, the team was able to pull through the season with an amazing showing just three losses. Captains Payton Schloss and Tessa Gillman played an important role during game warmups, keeping team spirit high and getting everyone pumped for the game. On the 21st of September during a game against Benicia High School, setter Caitlynn Turner fractured her ankle during the first set of the game. Even though they had a woman down, Isabella Silva filled in for Caitlynn and the girls took the win. Isabella stepped up and continued to play setter for the rest of the season.

One of the most memorable games for the JV girls team was their game against Alhambra during the Freedom tournament. They fought hard during the two set game in order to beat the Bulldogs. This victory was so memorable because in past years the JV girls had never taken a win against Alhambra. At the team banquet the girls reflected on their successful season and received awards for outstanding performances. Payton Schloss and Tessa Gillman received the Captains awards for their contributions throughout the season. The MVP award was given to Isabella Silva and Most Improved was given to Megan Young. Finally, Angela Le was given the Falcon Pride award for her demonstration of good sportsmanship.
