The boys varsity soccer team had a rough season, but they were still able to have fun under the tutelage of new head coach Ernesto Silva and assistant coach Colin Osborne. The team's record did not reflect the talented play of the the team and the competitiveness of the team. It was coach Ernesto Silva’s first year at this school and it is a new program and next year he says you can expect a great season. We had many seniors graduate after playing four years of amazing soccer with the school, and everyone in the program will be sad to see them go but many have promised to come back and watch the team play against rivals such as Northgate, Clayton Valley, and Ygnacio Valley. The graduating seniors are goal keeper Jordan Shinn, Defender Javi from the (925), Midfielder captain Tyler Emerick, Forward David Tolentino, Midfielder captain Andres Alfaro, Defender Michael Boyd, Defender Ethan Navarro, Midfielder Carsen Utler, Defender Captain Amado Uyehara. In an exclusive interview from senior Javier Villa he said his favorite memory from this year was when the team “beat Alhambra because it got the team out of a losing streak and it brought some ease to the team”. These boys are responsible for some amazing games played at this school and they hope to come back next year to see the team win an NCS title. They picked up their first win against one of the schools rivals Alhambra high school the score of the game was 4-1. The second game the boys won was against Benicia the score of that game was 3-1. The team scored a total of 18 goals through out the season.  The team had an ending record of 2-15-1 and a league record of 2-9-1.
