Making the transition from Washington to California was not exactly a memorable experience. Even though this is my 15th school to attend, this one was not easy. Generally, the people did not come off as friendly, once you get to know them, they are pretty admirable. For the first two weeks, I did not talk to anyone because I am not a very sociable person. My second week, in sports leadership class, I recall very vividly another classmate saying “I don’t want to sit next to this weird kid.”, because their seat had been taken. After a while, I started to make friends slowly and I am now friends with everyone I have came into contact with, including the other student that said that in sports leadership class. Another thing that I have been looking forward to is the baseball program. I have only heard good things about it, and I am extremely eager for spring to roll around. The teachers are also very helpful. This is the best staff that I have personally encountered, based on the fact that it actually seems like they care about your education and success. Not saying that my opinion is better than anyone else’s, but I have been to many schools and dealt with many staff members and college park is by far the best. Overall, I like college park. The only thing that is a bit odd is the lingo, but it’s g bruh.
