The boys varsity water polo team has continued to have success. On September 19th, the falcons easily handled cross town rival, Alhambra High School, with a score of 15-5. The very next day the boys played a tough game against Irvington High School. The falcons had a hard fought win against them that went into overtime with a score of 13-10. On September 22, the boys had 2 games against state powerhouses, Acalanes High School and Clovis West High School. The falcons fought like their lives were on the line but lost both games with scores of 19-6 against Acalanes and 9-1 against Clovis West. Even after those tough loses, the mighty falcons were ready for the rivalry game on September 26th, against Northgate High School. The pool was packed on a beautiful day for water polo that night. The energy was electric that night in a hard fought game against the Broncos. Sadly, the boys lost a tough game against Northgate with a score of 13-11.

This past weekend the falcons had a tournament in San Luis Obispo. During their stay, they stayed in a beach house and were having a great time bonding with each other. The boys played a total number of five games, two on Friday and three on Saturday. The falcons started the tournament off with a bang by beating Atascadero High School with a final score of 8-3. The next game was against another state powerhouse, Clovis North High School. The final score to that game was 17-5. The next game was against California High School. The falcons are very familiar with the grizzlies because we play them every year. The falcons beat Cal High in a close game with a final score of 8-7. The next game was against Nipomo High School. The falcons easily beat Nipomo with a score of 16-10. The final game of the tournament was against Cabrillo High School. Although tired, the falcons won the final game against Cabrillo to end with a record of 4-1 in the tournament. The falcons have upcoming games against Monte Vista High School and Clayton Valley Charter High School. Come out and support your falcons.
